Getting ready

I am trying to work out this blog business, this is my third attempt this afternoon. I am hoping to get it right by Friday. The photos go where ever they feel like going, this could be a problem as i plan posting more photos than words.  I will have to sort this out!

Rob thought he would check our flight status, as we leave on Friday & to our horror we found out that about 6 flights have been changed. Some changes are as simple as a name of carrier change, the worst is my flights from Newcastle-UK to Marseille via Gatwick do not connect. The Newcastle flight is now several hours later & i miss my connection in Gatwick by 3 hours. Oops. A hasty email is about to be written to out travel agent.

My packing comprises of a huge pile of clothes, electronic devices, cables, leads, cameras & adaptors. I will have to cull the clothes. I pack for hot, cold, wet & dry, then i figure i have it covered.

We still have to go onto Smart Traveller & log all our travel destinations. Matthew has warned me that he is part of the Smart Traveller site & he has been made up to look very scary. If i knew how to attach it to this blog i would but as i said before i am just trying to get a handle on all this.

Now it’s time for a nice cup of tea.
